The ideological conflict, especially on the issue of identity in novel It shows struggles of a ruling belief and someone’s character by analyzing the main characters and the way the novel is written.  we see how the author shows this struggle between a ruling belief and his identity. In Bakhtiar Ali's novel (Invasion of Darkness) identity is not just a nation or a simple belief, but a political tool used by the authorities to control the people. The study states how people are looking to protect their identity and fight for freedom.

This research is descriptive-analytical and tries to show the relationship between the novel and ideology and what are ideological aspects that have become important issues in the novel, and the conflict began about it.

In the novel Invasion of Darkness; The issue of erasure of nation, destruction of language and changing culture are the three most important issues that are the theme of the novel and a significant part of the novel turns around these three issues.
