This journal is 100% open access, which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or their institutions. All articles are published under a CC BY 4.0 license, and the author retains copyright. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, as long as proper attribution is given.
The Journal’s Scope
The Qalaai Zanist journal (گۆڤاری قەڵای زانست) (PISSN - 2518-6558, EISSN - 2518-6566) is a scientific journal published by Lebanese French University, Erbil-Iraq. It covers all human and scientific disciplines, and currently, the focus is on topics of administration, economics, accounting, tourism, law, legal administration, foreign relations, diplomacy, education with all its scientific interests, Kurdish, Arabic, English languages, as well as plastic arts, engineering, and information technology.
Additionally, this journal follows a double-blind peer-review process, where the duration between submission to acceptance of the article will take approximately 6 to 10 weeks.
The objectives of the journal
The journal aims to achieve the following objectives:
- Raising the capabilities of scientific research in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and inside and outside Iraqi universities.
- Increasing the freedom of academic research to develop critical thinking and to further following up problems and phenomena with in-depth scientific analyses.
- Encouraging the teaching staff to compete to prepare beneficial scientific researches.
- Urging the university to hold academic conferences by publishing the papers of these conferences in the journal.
- Raise the rank of the Lebanese French University at the universities of the region, Iraq, and the world.
The journal’s Policy
The journal works to encourage refereed scientific research based on objectivity and meaningful criticism, to push for more scientific outputs for teachers and researchers in various human and scientific disciplines and the Kurdish, Arabic, and English languages.
Publication Frequency
List of the published issues and number of articles per issue which are:
- Published 4 times per year.
- Every issue should have 30~40 articles
Publication Ethics
Editors' responsibilities
The editor of Qalaai zanist journal is responsible for deciding which of the papers submitted to the journal will be published. The editor will evaluate manuscripts without regard to the authors' race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy. The decision will be based on the paper’s importance, originality, and clarity, and the study’s validity and its relevance to the journal's scope. Current legal requirements regarding libel, copyright infringement, and plagiarism should also be considered.
In case one of the reviewers reject the article, an arbitrator will evaluate it. Additionally, if the arbitrator rejects the article, it will not be considered according to the instruction of the journal.
Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted paper will not be used by the editor or the members of the editorial board for their own research purposes without the author's explicit written consent.
Reviewers' responsibilities
Any manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. They must not be disclosed to or discussed with others except as authorized by the editor. Additionally,
Authors' duties
Authors of original research reports should present an accurate account of the work performed as well as an objective discussion of its significance. Underlying data should be represented accurately in the paper. A paper should contain sufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the work. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior and are unacceptable.
Research articles must be submitted along with researchers' specialization to our journal. Additionally, medical ethics should be strictly followed in all biological related research works.

This journal uses Open Journal Systems 3.2.1.2, which is open source journal management and publishing software developed, supported, and freely distributed by the Public Knowledge Project under the GNU General Public License.
