The Role of Poets Teachers in Developing Kurdish Children's Literature

الملخص
This study is entitled (The Role of Poets Teachers in Developing Kurdish Children's Literature). an attempt to display and show the role of teachers who were poets and writers, for example, the poets (Ziwar 1875-1948), (Bekas 1905-1948) and (Goran 1904-1962). These poets have been teaching children in Kurdistan schools since inception of the schools until the middle of the twentieth century. Their literary works were part of the curriculum in schools and they played an important role in the developing Kurdish Children's Literature.
This study consists of two parts, the first part is on the theoretical side, which we try to focus on the concept and definition of teachers, schools, children's literature, and the history of the establishment of schools in southern Kurdistan. As for the second part of the research on the practical side, which highlights, analyzes and presents the works of these poets and shows the impact of the literary texts they wrote for the children and were part of the curriculum in the schools. And finally we present the results in several points, which we reached as a result of our research, with a list of sources. And a summary of the research in Arabic and English.
