Some Impacts of the Language Expressions in the Society

Abstract

This research is a sociolinguistic study that investigates the impact of the linguistic expressions (the positive and the negative) in the society. According to the research findings, the linguistic expressions and their aspects (the psychological, the social, the cultural, and the phonetic) have significant effects within the society. The study is conducted from two perspectives: the theoretical, that examines the concept and definition of the linguistic expressions and the effects of the language on the society; practically, through collecting daily samples and conducting surveys, these effects have been analyzed across different social classes and groups. Additionally, statistical analysis using SPSS software was performed to analyze the data and reveal the relationship between linguistic expressions and their impacts.
