The Role and Impact of Family on Children's Language Acquisition Process

Abstract

Language by itself is a complex phenomenon the process and the way it is received too, Researchers are always trying to find out the way and how language is received by children and the factors that affect the way the process is conducted. There are a number of theories and approaches that have been put forward in this regard، each of which has a factual aspect، but it has not achieved its goal in a complete and accurate way, and at the same time it is not without flaws and criticisms. It is clear that the family is the first school from which a person learns a large part of his/her behaviors, including language, since language is a human’s behavior and the family is the environment in which the child receives behavior and language, so it is normal for each aspect of the family to have an impact on the child's psyche and language which sometimes has a positive effect and helps the development of the child's language and sometimes it is badly and negative.

This study attempted to examine the role and influence of the family on the language acquisition process in children, both positive and negative sides.
