Abstract

The current research aims to identify and find the relationship and impact between high containment management, as an independent variable that includes four main dimensions (job integration, continuous training, administrative empowerment, and technological support), and job satisfaction as a dependent variable represented by its dimensions (working conditions, wages and salaries, promotion opportunities, and job content). The study was based on a research problem that represented in posing a set of questions about the extent of the impact of high containment management on the levels of job satisfaction among employees in the private hospitals under study, especially in the contemporary work environment characterized by accelerating technical and organizational challenges. To answer these questions, a hypothetical model was constructed for the study that includes four main hypotheses, which were tested using multiple statistical tools and methods. The study followed the descriptive and analytical approach, which combines a description of the phenomenon under study and an analysis of the relationships between its variables. Data were collected using a questionnaire tool, which was randomly distributed to a sample consisting of employees in (15) private hospitals in the city of Erbil. The number of distributed questionnaires was (213), and (191) valid questionnaires were retrieved for analysis. The analysis was carried out using the statistical program (SPSS V.26) to obtain accurate and reliable results that support the study hypotheses. The study reached a set of conclusions indicating the existence of a strong and significant relationship between high containment management and job satisfaction, indicating that enhancing high containment policies positively reflects on the level of job satisfaction. The study recommended the necessity of supporting a participatory work environment, enhancing employee empowerment and motivation, providing sustainable training programs, and involving them in decision-making, which will positively reflect on the overall performance of hospitals and their continuity in achieving their goals. It also stressed the necessity for private hospital management to enhance awareness of the concepts of high containment management adopted by the current research with the aim of achieving the highest level of understanding among employees and benefiting from them.
