Abstract

This study investigates the impact of sensory marketing on consumer perception and behavior, focusing on how various sensory stimuli influence purchasing decisions and brand engagement. Sensory marketing utilizes stimuli such as sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste to create memorable and emotionally resonant experiences that differentiate brands in a competitive market. The research involved a survey with participants from diverse age groups and backgrounds, revealing that the majority of respondents recognize the importance of sensory elements, particularly visual appeal and background music, in shaping their shopping experiences. The findings indicate that while most consumers are aware of sensory marketing, there is still a significant portion that remains unfamiliar with the concept, highlighting the potential for broader application and education. Cultural and individual differences also play a crucial role in how sensory stimuli are perceived, suggesting that marketing strategies should be tailored to specific target audiences to enhance effectiveness. The study concludes that sensory marketing significantly influences consumer behavior, but its success depends on aligning stimuli with consumer expectations and cultural contexts, thereby strengthening brand loyalty and customer satisfaction.
