Abstract
The aim of this research is to examine the role of the quality of work life represented by (a healthy work environment, salaries and financial factors, and employees’ participation in management) in organizational commitment represented by (normative commitment, continuity commitment, emotional commitment). In order to achieve the research objectives, a plan was designed a hypothesis that explains the nature of the relationship between the two variables, for examining the research hypotheses, the research applied to a sample of private hospitals in the city of Sulaymaniyah in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq to obtain the required information through the questionnaire prepared for this purpose. The researchers distributed (200) forms to the workers, and (189) forms were retrieved, while the number There are )176 (questionnaires suitable for analysis, representing a cross-section of doctors, public officials, and health personnel in private hospitals, The research has used several statistical tools to reach the relevant results by relying on the statistical program (SPSS. V.24), and the research has reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which is that there is a direct correlation and a positive effect of the quality of work life on organizational commitment combined and individually. Based on the conclusions, the research presented a set of recommendations, the most important is that the surveyed hospitals should enhance attention to the quality of work life of their employees, with its dimensions represented by (a healthy work environment, salaries and financial factors, and employees’ participation in management), which has a positive and moral impact on enhancing organizational commitment.
