The role of organizational immunity in achieving organizational health

Abstract
The current study aimed to diagnose the role of the university’s organizational immunity, represented by its dimensions (organizational learning, organizational memory, and organizational DNA) in achieving organizational health, represented by its dimensions (Morale, institutional cohesion, Innovativeness, institutional integrity, consideration, and Resource support). The descriptive method was adopted in this study, and a questionnaire was designed to collect data from the study sample, which included (234) faculty members in polytechnic / Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Statistical analysis of the data was carried out using SPSS version (26) statistical software.
The study reached a set of conclusions, including the availability of moderate levels of organizational immunity and organizational health in the surveyed universities at the level of overall indicators and at the dimensional level, and that organizational immunity has a moral and positive impact on organizational health. Based on the conclusions, a number of suggestions were presented, including the need for the surveyed universities to enhance the application of organizational immunity as one of the important factors that contribute to achieving organizational health, and to spread awareness among academic leaders in the surveyed universities of the importance of organizational health and enhancing its dimensions. suggestions were also presented for future studies.
