The Role of Organizational Learning in Achieving Performance Excellence: An Analytical Study of the Opinions of Managers of a Sample of Commercial Banks in Erbil City

Abstract
This research aims to identify the role played by organizational learning in achieving the bank’s excellent performance from employees’ perspectives in several commercial banks in Erbil city. The method adopted in this research is to identify the problem of research by asking several questions centered on the nature of the relationship, impact, and variance between the independent and variable, which is the bank’s excellence performance, besides the conceptual research scheme designed and established four hypotheses. However, to verify the validity of the hypotheses, a series of statistical tests were produced. The descriptive-analytical approach was used to reach the results of the research. The researcher prepared a questionnaire for a random sample in several commercial banks in Erbil besides the survey sample represented by (19) commercial banks. While the questionnaire was distributed to 122 employees in those banks, so, a total of (112) valid forms of analysis were obtained, and correlation, effect, and variances were tested through using SPSS v-25.
The research has reached several results, the most important of which are the
existence of good practices for variables of organizational learning and the
bank’s excellent performance, as well as the existence of relationships and the
impact of organizational learning on performance excellence. The researchers
recommended maintaining the proper levels of the variable organizational
learning and performance excellence besides the need to invest in the strong
relationship between the variables at the macro and micro level and then guide
this relationship towards the success and continuity of banking services.
