The character of Massoud Mohammed from the point of view of his friends and his reflection in some of his writings and His works

Abstract

Mas’ud Mohammad is one of the great philosophers whocreatively servedKurdish literature, language, education and philosophy in both Arabic and Kurdish languages. He was very famous among Arab people in general and Kurdish people in particular. If his works had been translated into international languages, he would have been a famous figure in world literature; therefore, this study aims at discovering Mas’ud Mohammad’s personality as seen by his close friends and wife and the effect of his personality on his writings. The researchers used interview as the tool for the aim of this study and Mas’ud Mohammad’s personality is analyzed based on Jordon Albort’s definition of personality which is :Personality is the physical, psychological, cognitive, affective and social abilities of human beings. Personality traits include intelligence, insight, knowledge, decision making abilities, influencing others, humbleness , tolerance, honesty and courage. The researchers analyzed Mas’ud Mohammad’s book” The
Journey of My Life” and depended on some quotes to find out the effect of his personality on his writings.
