The Ethics of Defending the Companions: A Study of The Value Standards of Mr. Abdul Rahim Al-Mawlawi

Abstract

This research is a humble attempt and a small effort, and our goods in it are mixed, as it is difficult for us in it to give the honorable companions - may God be pleased with them - the honor and reverence they deserve, but we strived for this as much as we were able to do, so we took the path of defending that blessed group through. The efforts of one of the prominent figures of the muslim kurdish nation, mr. Abdul rahim al-mawlawi, who established a unique doctrinal edifice through poetic systems on issues of theology and theology, aiming behind them to attract the reader’s interest in reading these faith-related topics and facilitate their memorization without getting tired or bored. Among these topics are: what he paid attention to was the discussion of the companions - may God be pleased with them - and he - may God have mercy on him - stood tall like a great mountain, defending them with firmness and severity in the face of those who attacked them and their aggressors.

In this research, we tried to investigate mawlawi’s opinions regarding the honorable companions, determine the approach he followed in that, and analyze his intellectual propositions in a way that makes it easy for the reader to understand the topic in an easy and simple way. We took into account innovation in presenting the information in an interesting way, in line with the minds of contemporary readers, so we decided to we are studying the ethical standards in the field of ethics with regard to defending the companions - may god be pleased with them -, and we were able to find out their meaning, which is: a set of controls, principles and foundations that should be observed in dealing with others, to be a means of reaching the truth and correctness based on evidence, and in a framework of objectivity, ensuring the achievement of peace in society and the consolidation of harmony and love among its members.
