The Role of E-Learning in Improving the Teaching Mathematics at the University Level

Abstract
The study aims to measure the role of the use of e-learning in achieving improvement in the process of teaching, learning and evaluating mathematics, from the viewpoint of faculty members and students in order to assess are significant differences between the variables of the study.
The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach. She prepared a questionnaire of 37 paragraphs, distributed in the fields of education, learning and evaluation, to meet the requirements of validity, reliability and internal consistency.
The study showed that the degree of effectiveness of e-learning strategy in improving mathematics education in the three areas combined together the according to faculty members and students in general is 3.49. This is more than the theoretical average and is closer to the good level.
The study comes out with a set of recommendations for those in charge of mathematics education in universities. The study recommended faculty members in the field of education technology, connecting the theoretical aspects of mathematics with its practical applications. It also recommended organizing workshops and scientific symposia to maximize the benefits of information communication technology.
