The effect of Geomorphic hazards on Mountain Road (Bara nan) in Derbandikhan district

Abstract

This study examines the impact of geomorphic hazards on the mountain road (Bara nan) in the Derbandikhan district under the influence of various natural environments such as (geological composition, topography, climate types, salinity, soil and surface cover K) and their impact on the activation of geomorphic hazards by setting values for it Variably in the research area, which is located in the southeastern part of the Kurdistan Region, in the north of Derbandikhan district, to achieve the objectives we relied on theoretical and practical methods using the program (GIS 10.8) for image analysis Landsat 8 and high-end models DEM with a resolution of 30 m and climate data of Derbandikhan Meteorological Station.
