Abstract
The research tests the elements of competitive advantage on the performance of private banking services operating in the city of Erbil. The research problem was to determine the impact of the elements of competitive advantage on the performance of banks. The questionnaire form was used as a tool for collecting data, and (31) questionnaires were distributed to the research sample. The data was analyzed using the SPSS program and the factor analysis method. The researcher reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are the elements of competitive advantage and an effective role in the performance of banks. The research ended with a set of Proposals including banks relying on the website to provide services, advertising, and promotion, which do not have that platform, and spreading banking awareness to individuals to encourage them to use savings accounts and modern banking services.
