Abstract

The research aims to analyze the role of talent management in enhancing competitiveness and its reflection in building a positive organizational reputation. The methodology adopted by the research is to define the research problem by asking several questions centered around the relationship and influence between the research variables from the point of view of the respondents or sample managers from the Cihan Group in Erbil City. To verify the validity of the hypotheses, they were subjected to a set of statistical tests. The research used the descriptive analytical approach, as variables were described, and the research population was represented by the Cihan Group in Erbil. Accordingly, (280) forms were distributed to the respondents, and (276) forms valid for analysis were obtained, the descriptive analysis, the relationship, and impact were tested through statistical methods using the SPSS v-26. The research reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which is the presence of high levels of talent management and competitiveness. There is also the presence of a positive organizational reputation in the researched Cihan Group in Erbil City. The results showed correlations between the research variables. There is also an impact of talent management in enhancing competitiveness and building a positive organizational reputation. The results also showed the impact of competitiveness in building a positive organizational reputation. The researchers suggested the necessity of maintaining high levels of talent management, its dimensions and working to increase financial allocations for the talent development process, to provide intellectual creativity and contribute to translating it into a tangible reality that reflects positively on employee performance, while the results showed that talent development is strongly linked to enhancing competitiveness and building an organizational reputation. In addition, Cihan Group should find an appropriate database related to its talented and innovative employees and appropriate methods to measure and evaluate the capabilities of the talented and manage them better, while identifying their needs and developing their skills through effective training programs.
