The Mental image of students in the media department about dubbed dramas on Kurdish channels

Abstract
This research is focusing on the mental image of the students of the media department about the dubbed dramas on Kurdish channels.This research is descriptive research commensurate with the academic scientific research method, and to achieve the objectives, the researcher used the survey method.The research community consists of students of the Media Department, and the research sample consists of 86 male and female students of both genders who were chosen randomly.This study aims to show the direct and reverse interaction between the research sample and dubbed drama series, as well as the extent to which students of the Media Department accept dubbed drama, and what images they create in their minds.One of the most important results of the study was that most of the members of the research sample watch dubbed dramas, and the study also found that dubbed Kurdish dramas play an important role in forming the mental image of the students of the Media Department, especially by showing the facts of their lives, and helping them form a better image and a different personality.However, there are some downsides, how it encourages social and moral deviation and sometimes rebellion against the family and society.Accordingly, the study was implicitly addressing the mental image arising from watching Kurdish dubbed drama in the mentality of media students of different private and public perceptions.
