Abstract

Our goal in this research is to highlight the duty, role and importance of the parliament to the extent of the impact of social security of citizens in the Kurdistan Region, the main question of our research as follows: Does the presence of parliament have any effect on social security? In light of this objective, the main objective of this study is to conclude that if not all parliamentary decisions are able to provide social security, some have reached this conclusion. The research also plays a significant role in understanding the duty and role of the parliament in achieving social security, according to the research focuses on the duties and work of the parliament, especially in terms of parliamentary sessions on social and psychological security. Because the parliament as one of the most important official institutions of the political system of the country has an important position at the domestic and international levels.


And because our research is theoretical research and we used analytical methods, the researcher finally came to the conclusion that by issuing and implementing decisions and bills. Parliament can play an active role in consolidating social security longtime. In our research, we present the results and recommendations of the research.
