Social Capital Relation with Job Satisfaction Among University Teachers- A Field Research About State University in Erbil City

Abstract
This study attempts to examine the relationship of social capital with job satisfaction among university teachers. The research community is teachers of public universities in Erbil, which was taken through a stratified sample of (340) people as the sample of a study. To reach accurate and scientific results, the researchers used descriptive analysis method. Along with measuring the level of social capital and job satisfaction among the sample participants, this study also investigates direct and (through quality of life as a mediating variable) on job satisfaction. The most important findings of the study are: The structural dimension and the cognitive dimension of the social capital scale have statistically significant effects, direct effect, on the managerial and colleague dimensions of the job satisfaction scale. However, the relationship dimension has no statistically documented effect on any of the job satisfaction dimensions.
