Especially, at morphological and syntactic levels. The (da) morpheme is one of those morphemes that functionally is very active in grammar which is why this study is entitled (The Role of “da” Morpheme in Kurdish Language) and dealt with it in the Kurdish central dialect in particular. This morpheme plays a number of different roles in this dialect and no scientific studieshave been done to determine its types and functions. Meaning, no specific works have been dedicated to it except for some linguistic references that have been done alongside dealing with and within other topics. Even such attention has only covered one aspect of this morpheme. Because of the lack of paying enough attention to it and the importance of its role, this morpheme has been selected to be investigated in this study as much as possible and specify its roles accordingly.
