The Role and Position of Karim Ahmed Towards the Political Events in Iraq 1953-1962

Abstract

Since the beginning of the forties of the twentieth century, the names of some Kurdish personalities began to appear, They played their leading role in the Kurdish political movement, Karim Ahmed was one of these figures, he had an active role in developing relations between political parties within the framework of the National Front. It also has a leading role and position among the leaders of the Iraqi Communist Party to support the Kurdish revolution. so we chose this title and prepared a special research on it. Based on the academic approach in historical research, relying on a number of basic sources.The research necessitated the subordination of the research to three basic topics, the first topic bearing the title (The life and personality of Karim Ahmed), in which we touched on some important aspects and stations of this character’s life, such as his upbringing, his academic achievements and the beginning of his political ideas. the second topic bearing the title (Karim Ahmed’s position towards controversies The Interior of the Iraqi Communist Party 1953-1957). The third topic, in which he shed light on his political stances towards the political events 1958-1962 . In conclusion, we summarized the most important findings of the research in brief points .
