Abstract
The goals of this study are:
1. To What extent the universities of Kurdistan region achieve the requirements of European academic accreditation standards.
2. Are there any statistically significant differences between the universities of the region in achieving the requirements of Academic Accreditation Standards in the following fields? a. Demand for the course in the labor market.
b. Education based on scientific research.
c. Academy efficiency of the academic program and internal quality assurance.
d. The structure and organization of the academic course
e. The continuity of the internal quality of the academic course
4. Sample composed of all the heads of scientific departments at universities in the region which are: (University Salahdin University, Sulaymanya Erbil University. Dohuk university), (189) for the academic year (2013-2014) the researcher adopted a questionnaire, which includes European accreditation standards, which are taken from the University of Copenhagen for the year 2012. .
