The styles of women’s personality in the novel (Boon) : By (Kawthar Shawkat)

Abstract

This research is an attempt to identify the types and Types and styles of representing women/ female Character in the novel. In this research, the theoretical aspect includes the types and styles of women’s according to societal view, the writer’s view, and the method of constructing the novel’s events. The research highlights the representation of woman and her characterization within the society, but from the perspective of male writers who often failed to provide a realistic and comprehensive picture of Kurdish women. This research is a portrayal of women’s personality in Kurdish society according to the view of a female writer; therefore, it is natural that there are differences in literary portrayal between male writers and female writers. This research is an answer to several questions that have been raised: To what extent has Kawsar Shawkat (as a female writer) been able to express the image of Kurdish women? What types and styles of female characters did he use in his novel? As a result of this research, the female characters in the novel “Being” were studied.
