Abstract
This study discusses the significance of the workplace, safeguarding employees' rights and performance in institutions, and fostering innovation in the workplace. It is based on applicable laws from both Iraq and KRG that have been developed to support this area and, to some extent, address psychological aspects of workers by granting them rights and ensuring a positive work environment. It might be claimed that companies and states do not place a higher priority on worker safety than on profits or capital, despite the fact that workers have long fought for their protection, forcing states to pass legislation addressing the issue. Nevertheless, the law, known as the Labor Law, emphasizes the application of all of its rules in order to safeguard both their personal safety and the illnesses they contract as a result of unfavorable working conditions.
However, as everyone is aware, there are numerous opportunities for innovation in the workplace. These include planning, strategic planning, methods and processes, workforce skills, and the ability to alter the work environment in terms of the products and services offered. Provide creative chances that enable employees to fully realize the potential and capabilities of entrepreneurial firms. Likewise, ensure that managers have an efficient work environment that enables them to produce high-quality, creative products. These are accomplished by enacting strong laws that safeguard employees and provide a positive work environment, as this study has indicated.
