Abstract
The main purpose of the study is to show the relations between Russia and the Kurdistan Region because Russia has given the Kurdistan Region a strategic position, and in this research it emphasizes the role Kurds in the political and economic situation of Russia in the Middle East talk about russia's two-sided attitude towards the Kurdish issue, as well as the issue of Russia's return to The Middle East and limited support for the Kurdish side, as well as the most prominent points of rapprochement and conflict between the two sides and Russia's efforts to develop relations with the Kurdistan Region, look at the assumptions of Moscow's policy towards the Kurds. We will also analyze the issues that are related to the development of oil and gas in Kurdistan from the nearby gazprom in Kremlin with the role of Strengthening the relationship between Mosko and Erbil.
