Trends of Geography Teachers Towards E-Learning in the Basic Stage

Abstract
The study aimed to know the orientation of geography teachers towards e-learning in the basic education stages, and to know their differences according to the gender variable and the age of the teachers. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method in the study, and the research community included all geography teachers in the basic education stage within the second and third circles, and their number is (929) male and female teachers of both sexes, in the city center of Erbil for the academic year 2021-2022. In order to reach its goal, the researcher tried to prepare a questionnaire measure of teachers’ trends, and after making sure of the stability of the scale, the researcher applied it to the research sample consisting of (150) male and female teachers, (65) male and (85) female teachers, After collecting and analyzing information through statistical programs (spss), the researcher reached these results: There is a high and positive trend for geography teachers towards e-learning in the basic stage. He did not find any difference in statistical significance according to the variable of gender and age of teachers in their trends towards e-learning.
