This paper, The Body Beyond the Scope of Painting, examines the philosophical and cultural dimensions of the body, as well as the techniques and modes of bodily representation in contemporary art, using practical examples from various artists in Europe and the United States. The study contributes to the broader discourse on art and society, emphasizing the relevance of the body as a living archive of memory, emotion, resistance, and change. It consists of three main sections: The first part outlines the general framework of the research, including the research problem, significance, objectives, limitations, and definitions of key concepts and terms. The second part presents the theoretical framework, which covers two main themes: Theme 1: The Position of the Body in the History of Art. Theme 2: Methods and Techniques of Presenting the Body in Contemporary Art. Each theme includes several sub-discussions. The third part describes the research procedures, including the research community, materials and tools, methods and implementation, and case studies.
